Homebuyer Programs
Manna's success in affordable homeownership brought with it a number of challenges involved with setting the context for the home buying experience and developing the community within which the new home exists. To meet these challenges, Manna developed a number of complimentary programs to prepare and support the homebuyer and build more supportive community environments.
Homebuyers Club: A peer support group and homeownership counseling program designed to help participants improve their credit, save money, and learn valuable homeownership skills
IDA Program: A matched-savings program to assist homebuyers in saving toward the down payment on a home
Manna Mortgage: DC's first and only nonprofit mortgage company. Manna Mortgage offers home purchase and refinance loans targeted to the needs of traditionally underserved areas of the city
